DATES
Dates for the 17th Adlerian Summer School 2008
Sunday 3 August – Saturday 9 August
Arrive 4 p.m. onwards Sunday 3 August.
Depart after breakfast Saturday 9 August.
Summer School is based on the Individual Psychology of Alfred Adler and will be of interest to anyone wishing to learn more about this approach or develop their existing skills. No prior knowledge is necessary.
It also offers up to 40 hours towards continuing professional development, which is now a requirement for BACP and other accreditations.
Most courses involve working experientially, which is a valuable tool in counseling, as we tend to learn more through experience than through what we are told. Participants tend to find that a therapeutic process unfolds overlapping throughout the different workshops. Tutors and the organizing team are always on hand to offer assistance if required.
Community and contribution are encouraged so that a sense of safe community is generated to enable exploration and creativity.
