Module A (9.30 – 11.30 a.m.)

Early Recollections and Creative Visualisation.
Facilitator: Linda Edwards. This workshop will use a variety of teaching methods : didactic, experiential, groupwork and demonstration to engage with this fascinating subject. Participants will be fully involved in exploring how to work with and interpret ER's. Later in the week the group will learn how to work creatively with ER's through visualisation to bring about change in the client

Understanding Mental Health Needs of Younger People

Creative Supervision - Do you dare to be you?.

Module B (2.00 – 4.00 p.m.)

Introduction to Lifestyle Assessment and Early Recollection.
Facilitator: Karen John.

Adlerian Counselling with Artifacts.
Facilitator: Linda Edwards. This workshop will explore the use of artefacts in counselling. Group members will be encouraged to come with their own artefacts ( buttons, stones, russian dolls, gems, farm miniatures, playdoh, plasticine, marbles, paints etc etc) We will explore a number of presenting issues and how artefacts may enable resolutions. Groupwork, demonstration and some theoretical input.

Working from The Book of Thresholds.

Looking at the Grieving Process: grief and loss is explored from many different perspectives, including looking at how lifestyle affects the process.

A Transformational Experience.

The Addict in Us All: creative methods are used to elucidate participants’ attitudes towards addictions and to help understand the private logic underpinning addictions.

`E-Motion' Dance Therapy.

Please note that workshops are not booked until arrival at Green Park, and participants may change their minds up until the actual start of the workshops. Please note that the progamme of workshops is provisional and may change.

The COMMUNITY MEETING is a very important start to the day. All participants are encouraged to attend as this is the main forum to build community, to explore and air issues and contributions, and to hear the full program for the day.

POSSIBLE EVENING ACTIVITIES

Sunday: Introductions and activities.
Monday: To be announced.
Tuesday: Auction in aid of subsidised places for Summer School 2009.
Wednesday: Karen John - Crucial `C's.
Thursday: Bonfire.
Friday: Theatrical presentations on the workshops.

The BOOKSHOP will be available on at least one evening.

PROCESS SPACE: A drop-in group for anyone who would like to process their workshop or other experiences with experienced leaders.
Facilitator: Keith Lewis.

Café ADLER: An opportunity to explore and discuss all the basic tenets of Adler's Individual Psychology in an informal atmosphere.
Facilitator: Vincent Byrne.
